Swain Family Chiropractic is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to find information about our practice, learn about our services, and get in touch with us.

Our Commitment

We are working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website on an ongoing basis. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our reference point, and we make good faith efforts to align our site with those guidelines as we build and update it.

Accessibility is something we treat as continuing work rather than a finished task. As we add content and make changes to the site, we aim to apply these standards to the new material as well.

What We Are Doing

Steps we take to support accessibility include:

• Using clear heading structure so content can be navigated with assistive technology
• Aiming for sufficient color contrast between text and background
• Supporting keyboard navigation throughout the site
• Writing link text that makes sense on its own
• Building forms with clearly labeled fields
• Designing pages that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of our website may not yet be fully accessible. Areas where limitations may exist include:

• Third-party content and embedded features we do not directly control
• Documents such as PDF forms, which may not be fully accessible to screen readers
• Older content added before our current accessibility practices were in place

Getting Help Another Way

If any part of our website is difficult for you to use, you do not have to work around it. Call our office at (843) 900-7006 and a member of our team will help you directly. We can provide information verbally, complete forms with you over the phone, or arrange another method that works for you.

Our patient forms are also available in person at our office if downloading and printing them is not practical for you.
